This training programme helps enterprise development practitioners to design and implement market driven MSME development initiatives using a participatory approach. The 2019 edition features 10 day training programme that includes a basic and advanced module.

The basic module will analyse the principles and rationality behind value chain development (VCD), provide a detailed analysis of the different phases of VCD, share different techniques for market systems facilitation, and discuss the benefits of market systems facilitation.

The advanced module will introduce value chain finance, explain how to design VCD pilot interventions and present frameworks for constructing results chains and monitoring results.
