Our mission is to empower our members to be effective agents of change and to enhance their collective ability to accelerate learning and scale impact.
The common mission of SEEP members is to develop markets in ways that meet the economic and social needs of a significant number of individuals and households,
specifically women, the poor and other marginalized populations. SEEP members represent a diverse mix of organizations active in 150 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and
the Middle East. Members are international and local NGOs, consulting firms, training and research organizations, practitioner networks, and financial service providers.
SEEP’s purpose is to engage experienced and innovative organizations to collectively tackle some of the most difficult challenges facing the world today: poverty, gender inequality,
food insecurity, and the impacts of natural disasters and conflict. We help individual champions engaged with SEEP to be as effective as possible within their own organizations to promote and
sustain change. Through knowledge mobilization, innovation and turning evidence into action, SEEP’s collaborative learning platform helps our members to scale new and more impactful
practice.
