Making Cents International is looking for senior-level monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) experts to support the design and implementation of studies funded by USAID and other clients. We seek experts with demonstrated experience and expertise in research and evaluation design and implementation, quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and analysis, and crafting research reports for various audiences.

Experts will be expected to provide support in the following areas:

• Evaluation and performance monitoring design and methodology (e.g., impact evaluation methods including experimental and quasi-experimental designs; participatory methods).
• Data collection and analysis.
• Conducting evaluability assessments.
• Evaluation report writing, data visualization and planning for use and dissemination of evaluation findings.
• Management of evaluations and other analysis across countries and contexts.
• Knowledge management and the use of monitoring and evaluation evidence.
• CLA and other learning approaches.
• Evaluation and performance monitoring training.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience
• PhD preferred for senior level consulting assignments
• Working proficiency in French, Arabic, or Spanish preferred
