This resource is a component of a the Microfinance and DIsaster Management training series, designed to support MFIs to prepare, respond and recover from disaster and shocks. Module 4: Microfinance in the Livelihood Restoration equips participants with an understanding of: modifications an MFI might make to its standard products in response to a disaster situation; new products an MFI might consider in response to a disaster situation; and how MFIs can engage positively with relief agencies that offer financial interventions such as cash grants and cash-for-work.
