This resource is a Tool Kit presents information and tools to enable UNICEF officers to prepare for and respond to emergencies to comply with UNICEF’s Core Commitments for Emergencies in the education sector. The Tool Kit is based on the premise that in order to respond effectively to the delivery of education in emergencies, UNICEF must take the requisite preparedness actions. These materials can be used in three main ways: 1) as a resource in conjunction with education in emergencies training, 2) as a guide for emergency preparedness, and in particular, for preparing Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans, and 3) as a reference in the face of an emergency
