About Little Stones
From a graffiti artist protesting domestic violence in Brazil to a dancer rehabilitating sex-trafficking survivors in India, this uplifting documentary directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Sophia Kruz reveals how four women are using art to empower women and girls.
We will be showing the full 87-minute "Little Stones" documentary for members of congress, their staff, and other development agencies (eg. USAID, State Department). Immediately following the screening, we will have a panel discussion with all four women featured in Little Stones, and the film director.
The purpose of the event is to educate decision makers on global issues of violence against women, and to highlight innovative solutions to those problems.
