CARE has delivered 6 million packages to people in need across the U.S. since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The world’s first CARE Packages were sent to support the post-World War II hungry in Europe. Ultimately, CARE would send 100 million CARE Packages in its first 20 years. While CARE’s work changed over time, the legacy of those first packages lives on, delivering lasting change to communities in need around the world. Today, CARE and its supporters are rising to the challenge of COVID-19.
