Finance Manager

Program/Working Group:

 

Principal Responsibilities: 1. To supervise the activities and staff of Finance Department 2. Financial Reporting to the Director and Management as per requirement 3. Handling internal and external financial reports 4. Generating monthly financial reports 5. Filing Quarterly Returns, issuing Forms which are the mandatory requirements related to the School 6. Handling matters related to TDS, tax deduction of employees, Provident Fund, professional tax related matters 7. Handle IT Assessment and any other assessment of the School 8. Interacting and co-ordinating with the internal and external auditors 9. Compilation of Statutory Audit and finalization of balance sheet 10. Submission of Audit Reports to Management 11. Verification of invoices as per contract and any other approval / budget 12. Generating Contract / MOU / Agreement based on requirement in co-ordination with the Administration Manager 13. Fund Management 14. Assisting the Director in any other Finance related issues 15. Any other tasks related to administration allotted by the Director and Trustees. Qualification and experience: A Qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably also MBA (Finance). Atleast 8-10 years of experience, preferably in the development sector. The candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals. Additionally, the candidate must be organized with the ability to multi task, be flexible, pay attention to details and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English and knowledge of computer related to finance is essential. Salary will commensurate with experience.
